      In our warehouse located in the Chicagoland area, UR1Stop sells quality new and refurbished electronics at blowout prices including notebooks, desktops, tablets, workstation, and monitors. We also offer repair and IT services.

      Our skilled technicians diagnose our inventory and then switch out dead batteries, replace broken parts, repair water damage, remove system viruses and complete any other task necessary to revive what are otherwise satisfactory electronics.

      After each device is multi-stage tested, evaluated and graded an either A (no visible scratches or dents functions as new), B (minor visible scratches or dents but functions as new), or C(very visible scratches or dents but functions as new).


      The Age of Refurbishment

      These days we are all looking to reduce planetary waste and let's be honest, save a buck or two. Plus, refurbished electronics "run" just as well as their new counterparts. The difference is there may be some outside aesthetic wear from use. This is why buying refurbished is a smart decision. Not convinced? Read on to learn more about refurbished products.




      What are refurbished electronics?

      Refurbished electronics are products that were bought and then returned for whatever reason. Whether that be screen or other cosmetic damage, a defective or missing part or the individual simply wanting to trade in for a new or different model.
      These products are then tested and given whatever repairs, upgrades, or cleaning they need and then resold at a lower cost.
      Refurbished electronics are also set to original factory settings, wiped of any previous used data and repackaged.




      Why buy refurbished?

      You can sometimes save up to half the price of the same device's new model. It is not uncommon to receive a refurbished model that is a more reliable than a new one. This is because of the extensive testing involved in the refurbishment process which is typically more vigorous than when new products are tested in the factory.
      Buying refurbished products reduces the materials used and pollution caused by factory production of new products.
      By giving an electronic device another life you are saving a literal "box of toxins" from spreading into our sources of water and soil through landfill dumping(and electronics recycling is that one).




      Best practices when choosing to buy refurbished

      As soon as you receive your product do a full "test drive". If there is any issue, contact us and we can swiftly provide a solution. As always, we provide a one-year warranty on all UR1Stop products.

      Don't resist change. If you are considering buying refurbished in order to keep and old model which you are comfortable using, we recommend you take advantage of the savings you will get with us and buy a newer model. Change is healthy!




      Isn't "refurbished" the same as "used"?

      No, in order to be labelled refurbished the product had to have gone through extensive testing and then some sort of repair or upgrade. Used products are sold as is with no vetting whatsoever.

        These days we are all looking to reduce planetary waste and let's be honest, save a buck or two. Plus, refurbished electronics "run" just as well as their new counterparts.         Isn't "refurbished" the same as "used"?

        No, in order to be labelled refurbished the product had to have gone through extensive testing and then some sort of repair or upgrade. Used products are sold as is with no vetting whatsoever.

          Please notify us of any issues with your order within 30 days of receipt. If the product is still available on our site, you may request a replacement.

          We've partnered with our friends over at Consumer Priority Service to offer extended warranties for most of our products. Simply add the extended warranty on the applicable item right next to where you would add the item to cart.

          Warranty FAQ:
          Is a CPS Warranty just an extension of the existing manufacturer's warranty? No, actually it's an upgrade to your existing manufacturer's warranty. A CPS Warranty offers benefits that aren't offered by manufacturers like accidental damage & free shipping. Warranty Plan term and coverage begins the date of plan purchase and is inclusive of the manufacturer's warranty.

          What's covered?
          Accidental damage and failures due to drops and spills as well as electrical and mechanical failures from normal use. Accidental damage from drops and spills coverage does not apply to televisions, monitors or projectors.

          What's the difference between a Replacement Plan and Repair Plan?
          A Replacement Plan is available for products under $150. If the product fails, you will be reimbursed for what you paid for the product minus shipping and tax. A Repair Plan is for products over $150 and offers free repair coverage for your product any time during the life of your warranty. If we can't fix it, we'll replace it.

          How am I covered?
          For the Replacement Plan, your coverage provides for a one-time replacement of the covered product. For the Repair Plan, you are covered for a period of up to three years (depending on which plan you purchase). Benefits include parts and labor for required repairs on your product.

          Can I transfer the Protection Plan to a new owner?
          Yes! CPS Warranties are transferable between owners.

          Is my product covered if it's stolen or if I lose it?
          Unfortunately the CPS Warranty does not cover lost or stolen products.

          Does Accidental Damage coverage pertain to televisions, monitors or projectors?
          Unfortunately the CPS Warranty does not cover accidental damage to televisions, monitors or projectors.

          Is there a deductible?
          Zero dollar deductible for the Replacement Plans and the Repair Plans.
